It all starts with you, our guests. When you take one of our sailing charters we assign you your own personal captain. Your captain will assist you in planning your charter the way you want based on the type of charter you choose. Owners Andrew and Davis carefully select each Captain. They choose their Captains for the individuals superb professional maritime skills and experience as well as their interpersonal skills. Andrew and Davis want to ensure each captain has the ability and desire to make your trip the best experience for you – Our customers, our clients, our charterers, and now our friends.
Each of our sailing charters are individually arranged and configured for you. Your sailing experience begins when you first contact Shardana Sailing Charters. From the onset you will see that we are customer centric. We always work with you to design a unique sailing experience that caters to your want and needs, linking your vacation desires to our skills and experience. Shardana, our 42-foot Catalina sailboat, is loaded with all the comforts of home and more. Outside we have a large, shaded cockpit, a sun deck, an outside deck shower, and a BBQ grill. Inside, there are three private staterooms, two private “heads” (bathrooms) with showers, a large open salon, air-conditioning, a full galley, refrigerator, freezer, and a wine cooler. When it is play-time we have an inflatable dinghy with engine, a swim platform with a ladder, a hammock, stereo with blue tooth so you can play your own music, and many other amenities.
Choose your trip. Spend the day in Rock Hall and choose a half day sail, full day sail or a sunset cruise. Enjoy a fun weekend getaway sailing. We can custom design a private two or three day cruise just for you! Our sailing charters are great for a family vacation, the perfect romantic getaway, a birthday celebration, special anniversary present, retirement celebration, or a fun group/corporate activity and event. We also offer custom corporate programs and retreats. Interested in learning how to sail and getting American Sailing Association certifications? Shardana Sailing Charters is located in Rock Hall, MD offering the entire Chesapeake Bay at your beck and call. Rock Hall is known as the “Pearl of the Chesapeake” and offers plenty of opportunities to relax. It is your choice when considering a unique, memorable alternative vacation, day off and smile based fun time on the water. Wedding parties, engagement announcements, proposals, team building, corporate/leadership training, birthday parties, and romantic getaways are just some of the fun-events offered. Don’t forget we are pet friendly! We welcome small and medium sized well-behaved dogs on board. After all—pets are part of the family!
